I have always considered myself a peripatetic, which is defined in two ways: 1. Someone who travels from place to place, usually on foot, and 2. an Aristotelian philosopher. As an academic rhetorician by training, I’ve followed in the footsteps of Aristotle in literal and figurative ways.

I don’t ascribe much to labels in many contexts, but “peripatetic” is a label I’ve always worn proudly: as someone who learns wherever I go.
